comfortable low cost hotel with particularly helpful staff. cheap and neat rooms with a comfy bed. lovely and incredible location adjacent to a restaurant and the centre of stony stratford, could not be better....  

This location was good and perfect, very close to greenery. The personnel was lively and qualified. They gave a king room with shower, the boiler plus the bar as we booked.

Booked a room for the bar. The venue's position was central. Everyone was pleasant and amicable.

Pleasant hotel in an excellent and unbeatable place. A wide array of good food at breakfast time. Units with a comfy bed. Location close to the centre of Stony Stratford High Street as well as restaurants. ...  

We stayed for three nights and found the overall experience good, especially the cozy atmosphere and the restaurant's lively vibe. The food was delicious, and a massive shoutout to the team for making...  

We liked rooms for the bar.

A slight problem with the Saturday evening meal booking was swiftly dealt with by the hotel manager, but other that that a pleasant stay, so much so that I have already booked for later in the year.I...  

The room was super comfy with everything we needed. Loved the shower and the fluffy towels. It was also nice and warm. A bit of character in the flooring too, but it wasn't a problem. Total win for comfort!

The Cock Hotel had a charming decor with its crooked walls and low beams. The staff were attentive. Plus, the food was delicious and well-prepared!

The noise from nearby events was a bit disruptive.

Flexible and friendly attitude of staff.

The hotel asks for payments to book and we thought we had paid for the accomodation until we checked out and then we were stung for the cost of the trip at the end. Staff state they hold your account details in the event you don't turn up and will then bill you at the end of your trip, which doesn't make sense in my opinion. We had to keep requesting new towels since they were all stained! The corridor had a funny smell which was unpleasant.

A very pleasent countryside break.Food and service was excellent. As a country hotel it was great.A free municipal car park was a bonus.

Room rather tight but bed comfortable

I thoroughly enjoyed the charming decor and cosy bar area with its low beams and crooked walls. The staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort throughout my stay.

Noise levels from events can be disruptive.
